Preparing for the journey

Our Journey begins on April 12th, and when we arrive we will first go to visit Elfrieda's maternal relatives in Alfeld and Bielefeld. Elfrieda has given this journey a lot of thought; she would like to rest up from the flight, and share her news with her maternal cousins, before setting off for the Eifel by train.

The past few weeks have been hectic, as she learns more and more about her newly discovered family. What to take along? How to react and engage? Good advice is to just let it happen and absorb the impressions as they emerge. We will be in the Eifel from the 18 April until 1 May.
